How to connect Telegram to Lemon AI

Explore how Lemon can fit into a telegram conversation workflow while your team remains in control of the customer experience.
1. Open @BotFather in Telegram and send /newbot
BotFather asks two questions — a name for the bot, and a username that ends in bot. Answer both.
2. Copy the token from the reply
It arrives in the same chat, as one long line of letters and numbers.
3. Connect it in Lemon
Channels → Connect → Telegram. Paste the token and confirm.
4. Lemon checks it straight away
If the token is wrong, no channel is created — you find out immediately rather than days later. There is nothing else to set up.
5. Send your bot a message
Write to it from your own account, the way a customer would, and watch the answer come back.
There is also an optional address field, for teams whose setup answers somewhere other than the main domain. Most businesses leave it empty.
